Solar Lamp Posts

Decorate your space with solar lamp posts. Lighting brings life.
The use of solar lamp posts has been around for many years already but they are still not as popular as they should be. What constitutes its operation as a solar lamp is the very basic principle of catching the energy from the sun. It begins when the sun’s rays are trapped on a small solar panel that is found at the top of the light. From there the trapped heat energy will be stored into the battery pack. As soon as the batteries are charged the energy will be transformed into electrical energy and light up the LED (light emitting diode).
The mechanism of the post is also very simple. There is only the head and the pole. The head comprises the battery, the solar panel and the lamp (LED). The batteries are easily replaceable as well as the LED but sometimes they can last a year or more before the need for replacement. The poles can be of different materials and it ranges from powder coated aluminum to polycarbonate castings. So far the power coated aluminum is more commonly opted-for than the other materials because it does not get scratches easily, and does not break or fade.
Ordinarily solar lamp posts are about 7 feet high and they come in one, two or three head pattern. The posts can be mounted on walls or fences. When positioning for the post it must be placed where the sun’s rays is most hot and bright during the day and it requires about five hours of charging. When fully charged the light can last a whole evening and then automatically turns itself off at sunrise. The nice thing about this invention is that the light the lamps produce light which is almost as bright as the gas lamp posts used when there was not yet electricity in our cities. Although it is not as bright as electrical lamp posts they do give enough light to accentuate and beautify our surroundings.
Installing the solar lamp posts is also very easy. If you want a steady and solid base installed post you can pour concrete and then use a metal pad and bolt the base of the post into the pad. If you want to stake the post or bury its end on the ground it would also take you a little time to do that. People love solar lamp posts because they are quite attractive and can work quite well on driveways, gardens and yards or anywhere around your home. They are also easy on the budget, no need for constant replacement and almost no cost for their maintenance.
They can give an aura of a classical look just like how gas lamps were used long ago. Aside from the beauty they add they can also provide lights for a more secured environment during the evening. It is also the most environment-friendly among all lamps because there are no emissions in using it, byproducts or any chemicals unlike the ordinary bulb. The solar lamp posts are probably the most energy efficient, practical and innovative way to light up your place and because they come in many sizes, shapes and designs they can turn your evening dramatic just by looking at them.
